The 70’s ushered in the era of punk rock with bands from the UK such as The Ramones, The Clash, Iggy Pop, The Dead Kennedys, and more. “Let’s Go Punk!” pays tribute to iconic bands and the music that fueled counterculture in the Western world.
Starting with an under painting of the Union Jack, the mixed media piece combines traditional painting, collage, and spray painted elements, along with formation of the anarchy symbol using black wood screws, and incorporating metal studs directly into the hardwood piece.
This work measures 36”w x 48”h, mounted onto a 3-inch backing painted black.
